You know what you want to build.
What you may not know is how to turn it into a clear offer, a convincing brand and a business that makes sense beyond the original idea.
What you may not know is how to turn it into a clear offer, a convincing brand and a business that makes sense beyond the original idea.
But something isn’t working the way you expected. You’re changing the offer, the website or the marketing without really knowing where the problem begins.
The decisions are getting bigger and what worked at the beginning may not be enough anymore. You want to move forward without losing what made it worth building in the first place.
You don’t have to be stuck in the same place.
You probably don’t need me to do something AI can do, a tool can handle or you can reasonably do yourself.
You need me when the difficult part is knowing what makes sense in the first place.
When you don’t know whether the website is the problem or simply where the problem shows up. When several individually reasonable decisions stop making sense together. When the positioning sounds good but does not quite match the business behind it. Or when you have five possible directions and need someone experienced enough to tell you which four I would not pursue.
I work across business, brand and communication because decisions in one rarely stay there.
Use tools where tools are enough. Use expertise where judgment matters.
I’ve worked across marketing, brand, communication, media, project management and the operational work behind them.
Not because becoming a generalist was the plan. One question simply kept leading to another, and somewhere along the way I learned that businesses don’t experience decisions one discipline at a time.
Today, I work with founders and owner-led businesses on the questions that sit between those disciplines — the ones where changing the business changes the brand, changing the offer changes the marketing or fixing what is visible means looking at what sits underneath it first.
This isn’t a course, a membership or traditional coaching. It’s collaboration. We look at your actual business, make the decisions that make sense for it and, when something needs doing rather than just discussing, we do that too.
The questions I work on have an inconvenient habit of ignoring categories, which makes giving the work a neat label somewhat difficult.
A label is just a label. What matters is whether there’s something real behind it. But you have to call it something. So I did.
I don’t separate the quality of my work from what that work makes more successful. I cannot help a company become more convincing when I fundamentally disagree with what it is trying to make more successful. So fit is not only about whether I can solve the problem. It is also about whether I can stand behind the business I’m helping to build
You are building something you believe should exist and you care about more than making the story sound good.
You are willing to examine costs, compromises, impact and contradictions honestly, even when the answer is inconvenient.
You do not need to have everything figured out. You do need to be willing to question what does not hold up.
I do not help harmful business models become more persuasive, and I do not turn questionable decisions into better-sounding claims.
Some industries are outside my line entirely. In other cases, the decision depends on the company’s actual practices, impact and willingness to change.
If the brief is essentially ‘make this look more responsible than it is,’ I am the wrong person.
